Between the Lines
An animated short film based on the personal story of Abraham Ben Hador, a Holocaust survivor from Bulgaria.
As part of the research process, I met with Abraham and listened to his testimony firsthand. The film was created entirely from his story, with every frame hand-drawn by me, frame by frame, in order to preserve the intimacy and emotional tone of his memories.
The project received broad public exposure and was broadcast on both Kan 11 and Reshet 13 during Holocaust Remembrance Day. I was also invited to Kan 11 for an interview about the project, which gained significant attention within Bulgarian Holocaust survivor communities.
Opening Sequence Inspired by “The Three Butterflies”
A visual project based on a children’s story about friendship and loyalty despite differences.
The opening adapts the story’s message to today’s reality of racism and inequality. Filmed by me and edited in Premiere Pro.
Video Inspired by the Children’s Story “The Lion Who Loved Strawberries”
This project offers a critical and contemporary reinterpretation of an innocent children’s tale, translating it into today’s harsh reality where sexual assault and harassment remain disturbingly present.
At its core, the lion embodies the man while the strawberry becomes a subtle metaphor for sexuality, conveyed through a poetic and symbolic visual language, rather than direct representation.
The text, mirrors the original story while introducing delicate twists that infuse it with new layers of meaning and social critique.
Sweet Escape
A short illustrated animatic portraying a playful scene of a dog causing mischief and hiding at home while her owner searches for her.
The project is based on a single frame of the dog inside a washing machine, and expanded into a complete visual narrative through illustration and animation.
Unconditional
A monochrome portrait film that frames self-love as an inner practice of nurturing worth rather than an outward gesture. The voiceover traces a passage through fracture and heartache toward listening to the inner voice; subtle animations merge with the face, translating the narration into light and line. From darkness to quiet clarity, the piece arrives at the possibility of loving ourselves unconditionally.
Commercial for “Netflix World”
A conceptual project for an experiential hotel inspired by Netflix. The video highlights unique design and interactive experiences, immersing guests in the cinematic universe of Netflix.
